ELVERHØJ The name "Elverhøj" is pronounced Elverhoy and was taken from Denmark's most famous folk play, "Elverhøj," written in 1828 by H.C. Andersen. The play is still performed today. Translated as "elves on a hill" the story involves a kings's visit to the night world of the dancing female wood-spirits and her forest friends. |

Elverhoj, Breeder of German Shepherds Dogs since 1963, when Mr Oscar
Rasmussen founded the kennel. Since then we have been trying to
breed GSD of high quality and good
character with lots of temperament. In the seventies Kennel Elverhoj had
several VA at the Danish National Show of Winners, among others VA1
Elverhoj
Indra and
in 1979 winner of the progeny groups with an exelent group after VA1
Elverhoj's Aras. In the erly Nineties Mr Oskar Rasmussen past over the
kennel to me.
